An exclusive get-together of around 100 design and business professionals for an afternoon of inspiring thoughts on design will take place in cooperation with Design Management Institute Boston (dmi), hosted by Deutsche Telekom. Industry leaders and forward thinkers from design and business backgrounds will meet to talk design and business at the Telekom Design Gallery in Bonn.
Philipp Thesen, Chief Design Deutsche Telekom held a keynote on “Designing Leadership for the Digital Transformation” offering key insights about the evolving role of design in large corporations.
The kick-off was opened by Dr. Anne Stenros FRSA. Being one of the first Chief Design Officers on a city level, she will presented insights on how the role of design has changed and led to a city incorporating design on the c-level.
Great minds and experts who know the ins and outs about the power of design in larger organizations as well as the problems discussed how design and management have to interact. The panel included Prof. Jan-Erik Baars (Hochschule Luzern), Prof. Dr. Brigitte Wolf (University Wuppertal), Kevin McCullagh (MD Plan London), Karel J. Golta (MD Indeed Hamburg) and Antti Pitkänen (Founder Seos Design Helsinki).
